The Juvenile Mentoring Program of the Montgomery County Youth Service Bureau is
dedicated to providing sustainable, one-on-one mentoring relationships for the youth of
In order to become a mentor for a young child, you must be 18 years of age or older, and be
willing and able to commit to one to two hours per week (minimum of 9 hours per month)
for at least one year.
In order to become a mentee a child must be 6-14 years of age, reside in Montgomery
County, and be willing and able to commit to one to two hours per week for at least one
year. Parental consent is required.
