Jane began working at the Bureau in December of 1985. She has been program
manager for ten different programs, including those involving mentoring, juvenile justice,
education, recreation, and advocacy. She has been the CASA (Court Appointed Special
Advocate) director since December of 2002. Jane has seen the Bureau grow from four
staff members in 1985 to the present staff of thirteen. She states that she is very proud to
be part of such a caring, dynamic agency that has been willing to change over time in an
attempt to best meet the needs of youth and their families in Montgomery County.
Jane states, “I love being CASA director because I get to work with a great group of
volunteers and help improve the lives of abused and neglected children. It’s an honor to
be a part of such an important program.”
